The rubber outer sole has micro holes positioned according to the highest concentration of sweat glands in the foot.
“But surely with holes in the soles your feet would get wet?”
Geox have developed a breathable membrane which keeps the feet dry. The membrane is made of a special micro-porous material, which absorbs sweat through the insole and lets it out of the bottom in the form of water vapour. The holes are large enough to let the water vapour out, but too small to let water droplets in. This is how your feet stay dry!
